We stayed one really hot day (112 degrees) and two nights in St. George. On our first night I was in heaven. We slept in my niece's bed which happened to be an amazingly soft and cushy pillowtop mattress. Just what my pregnant body was yearning for!
My sister Della and her husband were so accommodating for our short visit. Rusty took the day off work and bright and early at 6am he took Jeff on a 4-wheeler trek up Bumblebee Mountain. Jeff didn't get any pictures of the really steep, crazy parts of the trail they took for obvious reasons.
While they were gone Della entertained the boys by helping them build a fort out of a big box and an entire roll of duct tape. She even gave them markers to color the outside.
And if that wasn't enough, when James found her cookie cutters she made them homemade playdough. My nieces Amanda (18) and Miquelle (16) played with them while the adults went to lunch at Outback where we celebrated Della's birthday.
That night Rusty turned on the sprinklers in the yard and played in them with the boys. He makes a great tickle monster and James and Harrison loved him.
After dinner when it had cooled off to only 100 degrees, Rusty took James and Jeff out on a short ride near the river by their house. James thought it was pretty cool to wear a helmet and ride on the back of the 4-wheeler.
It's hard for any kids to resist Rusty.
