James was so excited to go out to the beach right when he woke up our first morning here. It was all we could do to get him to eat breakfast first and wait for the slathering of the sunblock. Jeff's parents are part owners of a fabulous 5,000 sq. ft. beach house (the Nantucket) which sits right on the beach. It's so nice to just walk right out to the beach and not have to haul all our beach gear very far. The house is part of the Islander Resort so we have access to a big swimming pool only a short walk down the beach. We go swimming every day before we come in for lunch to get most of the sand washed off. You can see pictures of the house at http://nantucket.bowden.info/
Our routine now that we're here is wake up at 7am, breakfast, lounge around, out to the beach by 10am, go the swimming pool at noon, eat lunch at 1pm and everyone takes naps or lazes about in the afternoon. Harrison has been taking 3 hour naps which is amazing. I think all the fun and sun is really tiring him out!
Harrison is such a lush! He figured out how to get into the portable cooler we take down to the sand and goes for the Caprisun drinks. He drinks at least 4 every morning until we hide them or run out.
We finally convinced James to let us bury him in the sand after many attempts with him getting nervous and standing up at the last minute.
I enlarged the picture of you and the boys (great pic by the way) and then walked away. Breanne kept saying, "Mom, there are two boys staring at me, why don't they look at the beach or something." Ha!
